The economic and social partnership took part in technical meetings held at the Basilicata Region headquarter to define the Youth Guarantee Plan of Implementation.

The Partnership Action continued during the period of the Plan implementation through regular meetings that allowed to share the initiatives proposed by the Basilicata Region and to control the implementation.

They proposed ideas to improve the effectiveness of the program.

After discussions about the measures envisaged, Basilicata Region has signed on July 18, 2014, a Protocol Agreement with the social partners agreeing to prepare strong actions to combat not-completion of school with apprenticeship as the main measure of the "Youth Guarantee" Regional Implementation Plan.

Precisely for this purpose has been decided that companies that will host a young trainee, they will integrate his regional compensation (€ 450 pre-tax monthly) with a further contribution of at least €150 pre-tax.

The Basilicata Region also undertook to identify mechanisms highly rewarding in favor of companies that will transform an internship in an employment contract or in favor of young people who, at the end of their Youth Guarantee experience, begin a path of self-employment.

The same intention is directed against private employers and young people participating in Civil Service projects exploring the possibility of extending them the reward mechanisms identified.

The active involvement and participation of the partnership is crucial for effective and successful implementation of Youth Guarantee Program and it helps to define additional actions to inform, guide, train, accompany and facilitate job placement.
